As much as we work full time on various projects, our admin team work hard behind the scenes to ensure all the paperwork is up to speed. We pride ourselves on working in conjunction with our well earned accreditations, always airing to better ourselves as a business to the benefit of our valued customers. Fire damage - remit was to gut out property of all damaged furniture and personal belongings and leave the rest to the tradies! Fire damage poses some unique challenges. No power or water makes cleaning a struggle. Melted plastics bind themselves to carpets and furniture, meaning they have to be hacked free. Everything is damp after being (understandably!) soaked by the fire brigade. Stability of the structure of the flooring can also make things dangerous. Gardening isn't normally something we do, but basic clearance of the rubbish buried deep in the undergrowth required a full strip back for this property that was due to be put on the market.We're well equipped with the best equipment to cater for these types of jobs when we need to. Clearing a property and giving it a deep clean can add far more value to it, well in excess of the cost of the work. It also gives prospective buyers a better scope of the gardens. Recent clearance and clean of a property, 4th floor and plenty of rubbish!3.5 tonnes of rubbish removed to empty the flat, and a full deep clean to the property ready for other trades to enter. Not to mention moving all that rubbish down 4 flights of communal stairs, running up and down over 3 days and approximately 50 yard walk to the trailer due to access issues.Our lads are used to putting in a good shift! ... Another one! We're obviously very selective as to which properties we put onto social media. We'll usually also wait a few months between the job and posting.This particular job took us 2 days with 2 technicians. The carpets had been left down at the request of the tenant but were too fragile to clean.
